RN Pediatric School Nurse (New Grads Welcome - Paid Training) Job Description: Are you a licensed RN with a passion for working with kids? Training & Skills Provided to Hired RNs: - Seizure disorder management, including Diastat administration
- Insulin injections and pump management
- G-tube feeding
- Tracheostomy care
- Medication administration and care plan development
- Behavioral health knowledge and corresponding care strategies

Position Overview: - Location: South Contra Costa, CA and surrounding areas (Flexibility is essential)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (may vary); PRN to start
- Pay Rate: $41-45/hour
- Start Date: Immediate
- Type: In-person, per diem and full time
Responsibilities: - Provide care for students with chronic health conditions (e.g., asthma, diabetes) in collaboration with healthcare providers, teachers, and parents
- Monitor and manage immunization records in compliance with state regulations
- Deliver first aid and emergency care
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and drills
- Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
- Communicate with parents regarding health concerns and follow-up care
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Ability to frequently bend, crouch, and lift up to 40 lbs
Qualifications: - Active CA State RN License
- BLS Certification
- Current negative TB test
- Confidence with trach and g tube care
