Trailer Mechanic

Service Tire Truck Centers, a thriving mechanical business and leading provider of truck tires and mechanical services to the transportation industry with 53 locations in 8 states is offering a full time opportunity for quality Trailer Mechanic in Hazelton PA . Shops are well equipped and clean in a positive fast paced environment. Career advancement programs are available and encouraged.
Responsibilities:
· Perform repairs and maintenance of semi-trailers
· Preventative maintenance to ensure customer’s fleet of trailers are always in great condition
· Service, inspect, diagnose and perform all repairs and maintenance on trailer equipment
· Routine maintenance and other service repair orders, in accordance with DOT requirements
· Conduct annual DOT inspections to include minor to moderate repairs
· Welding and Fabrication required for this position
· Help maintain positive working relationships with current customers
Pre-placement drug screen and DOT physical required. No criminal background check required.
