Marshfield Clinic – Marshfield Children’s is seeking a compassionate RN, Outpatient to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team within our integrated pediatric health system. In this role, you will provide high-quality, family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in an outpatient clinic setting. Working closely with pediatricians, specialists, advanced practice providers, and other members of a multidisciplinary care team, you will perform patient assessments, administer medications and treatments, provide age-appropriate patient and family education, and coordinate follow-up care across the continuum of services. You will be responsible for rooming patients, obtaining accurate histories and vital signs, triaging phone calls and messages, supporting in-office procedures, and implementing provider orders in accordance with nursing standards and clinic protocols. You will use evidence-based practices and clinical judgment to recognize changes in patient condition, escalate concerns appropriately, and contribute to individualized care plans. Documentation will be completed in the electronic health record with attention to accuracy, clarity, and regulatory compliance. This position is well-suited for an RN who values a collaborative, patient-first culture and enjoys developing lasting relationships with children and families in an outpatient setting. You will participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety and infection prevention practices, and ongoing efforts to enhance the patient and family experience.
