What You’ll Do Providing exceptional nursing care to pediatric patients within the scope of your license, ensuring children feel safe, supported, and cared for. Assessing pediatric patient needs, developing care plans, and collaborating with providers to deliver comprehensive care. Supporting families with education, resources, and reassurance to help them navigate their child’s health journey. Preparing children for exams and treatments with professionalism and compassion, helping them feel comfortable and at ease. Helping with the management of pediatric chronic conditions, partnering with families to support ongoing care and improved outcomes. Administering and tracking pediatric immunizations to promote preventative health and long-term wellness. Championing preventative care by managing an assigned pediatric patient registry to improve health outcomes and support long-term wellness. You will build meaningful relationships with children and families and truly make a lasting impact in their lives. Offering support, guidance, and mentorship to fellow clinical staff, with a focus on pediatric care. Enhancing the patient and family experience while helping providers be as effective and productive as possible. Demonstrating advanced clinical judgment, critical thinking, and growing your expertise in pediatric nursing within a supportive, team-centered environment.
