Job Description

Real Estate Business Development Manager Off-Market Acquisitions | GG Homes | San Diego, CA

Are you a real estate agent who's done with babysitting transactions but not done with the industry?

GG Homes is hiring a Real Estate Business Development Manager to own our relationships with agents across Southern California. This is a field-based acquisition role built for someone who loves the relationship side of real estate but is ready to step off the treadmill of listings, open houses, and client hand-holding. If you thrive in rooms full of agents, know how to earn trust over time, and want to be compensated for the network you've spent years building keep reading.

Who We Are

GG Homes is one of Southern California's fastest-growing cash home buyers. We move quickly, close with certainty, and give agents a reliable solution for clients who need to sell outside the traditional market. When agents bring us a deal, we make them look good and we make sure they know it.

We work hard, but we also celebrate hard. Record months get rewarded with team trips to Cabo and sunset yacht dinners. Hitting goals means Din Tai Fung lunches and cash competitions. We're building something worth being part of, and we want people who want to grow with it.

The Role

As our Real Estate Business Development Manager, you'll be the face of GG Homes in the Southern California agent community. Your mission is to build a pipeline of off-market acquisition opportunities by becoming the go-to resource for agents whose clients need speed, certainty, or a private sale.

This isn't a desk job you'll be out in the field daily, presenting at brokerages, hosting events, taking agents to lunch, and doing the consistent outreach that turns cold contacts into warm referral partners.

The most valuable relationships in this role take 6 to 12 months to mature. You need to be someone who plays the long game, shows up consistently, and understands that every touchpoint counts even when there's no deal on the table yet.

What You'll Do

  • Build and manage a growing network of real estate agents, brokers, and wholesalers across San Diego and Southern California who refer off-market and distressed property opportunities to GG Homes.
  • Conduct cold and warm outreach to agents via phone, email, and in-person visits.
  • Present at brokerage offices, explaining how GG Homes works and the value we bring to agents and their sellers.
  • Host and attend networking events, industry mixers, and real estate conferences to grow brand presence and deal flow.
  • Take agents and partners to lunches, dinners, and events that build lasting relationships and keep GG Homes top-of-mind.
  • Negotiate deal terms directly with agents on properties where sellers need a fast, cash solution.
  • Create social media content and email campaigns that educate the agent community and build the GG Homes brand.
  • Design thoughtful marketing campaigns, value-adds, and outreach strategies that make GG Homes memorable and differentiated.
  • Manage your pipeline of relationships like a business owner tracking activity, prioritizing high-value contacts, and following up without fail.
  • Collaborate with our acquisitions and operations teams to ensure deals flow smoothly from introduction to close.

Who You Are

  • You have a real estate license and real-world agent experience you understand the pressures agents face, how brokerages operate, and how to earn trust in that world.
  • You're a natural networker who genuinely enjoys meeting people and building relationships over time.
  • You're equally comfortable cold-calling a stranger and commanding a room at a brokerage presentation.
  • You're self-directed, consistent, and don't need someone standing over you to stay productive.
  • You understand that this role is about account management and brand building not aggressive sales and you approach it with the patience and professionalism that long-cycle relationship development requires.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Active or previously held California real estate license is required. Prior experience as a real estate agent or in a relationship-driven real estate role such as title, lending, or wholesale is strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain multiple professional relationships simultaneously.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups in brokerage or event settings.
  • Experience with social media and email marketing in a real estate context.
  • Track record of creative thinking whether through events, content, outreach campaigns, or networking strategies.
  • CRM experience and strong organizational habits.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Compensation

Base draw plus performance incentives tied to deal flow generated from your network.

  • Expected Year 1 OTE: $120,000+
  • Expected Year 2 OTE: $300,000+

This is a ground-floor opportunity to build something from scratch. Your network compounds in value over time and so does your earning potential.

Benefits & Perks

  • Flexible PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k).
  • Sales competitions with cash prizes, trips to Cabo, and luxury experiences.
  • Team events including Padres games, yacht dinners, deep sea fishing, and omakase.
  • Beautiful newly renovated office with catered lunches, cold brew, and premium snacks.
  • Homebuyers Program we'll help you purchase your own property.
  • Real estate license sponsorship if you don't currently hold one.
  • Ongoing training and development from industry veterans.

Ready to put your network to work?

Apply with your resume and complete the necessary assessments that help us evaluate what naturally drives you so we can make sure to mold the role to you. We're looking for someone who understands the real estate space from the inside, values relationships over quick wins, and is ready to be the face of a company that's growing fast.
