Fetal Surgeon

Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies seeks an MFM-trained fetal surgeon to practice 100% fetal medicine in a new fetal care center with multidisciplinary support and one of the nation's largest and most successful neonatal intensive care units. Opportunity Highlights

• Practice in a new fetal care center equipped with six ultrasound exam rooms, two fetal non-stress test bays, and conferencing space with connectivity to the hospitals operating rooms
• Join two other MFM-trained fetal surgeons and a pediatric neurosurgeon
• Perform full-scope fetal intervention, from ultrasound guided percutaneous (needle-based) procedures to fetoscopic and open fetal surgery
• Practice 100% fetal medicine supported by 14 general maternal-fetal medicine physicians
• Practice in a hospital delivering 12,00015,000 babies every year
• Work with a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that is the fourth largest in the United States
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team dedicated to fetal conditions
• Care for high-risk pregnancies complicated by fetal anomalies in patients who are referred from across the United States
• Work with multidisciplinary colleagues across Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Pediatric subspecialties including surgery, cardiology, nephrology, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, urology, craniofacial surgery, neonatology, palliative care, and clinical genetics
