Piedmont Columbus Regional is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Surgeon to join our Piedmont Physicians Children's Hospital in the Heart of Columbus GA. This position is hospital employed with Piedmont Physician Group (a multi-specialty practice of 90+ doctors) and is a high-volume practice. This is a great opportunity to excel as a clinician as well as being committed to further developing the practice. The ideal candidate will be someone looking for a long-term commitment, community driven with great leadership qualities and open to pioneering a new practice. New Grads are encouraged to apply.
This position offers excellent benefits plan, call coverage with other local pediatric surgeons, as well as a strong military referral base in addition Piedmont Clinic. Physician will work with a highly skilled nursing team.

Piedmont Columbus Regional is part of Piedmont Healthcare’s integrated system of 23 hospitals. Our system in Columbus consists of two hospitals and a cancer center, serving a radius of more than 14 counties. The Midtown Campus is a 583-bed hospital and functions as a Level 2 Trauma Center with the region’s only Children’s Hospital including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Neuroscience Center of Excellence, a newly renovated Emergency and Trauma Center as well as the SI and XI da Vinci Robot and plans for more. The Northside Campus is a 100-bed, general acute care hospital that is nationally recognized for delivering outstanding clinical quality, accompanied by the highest levels of customer service. Northside has opened a 12,000 square foot Emergency Department with 10 patient rooms and plans for expansion. The new ED at the Northside Campus is staffed with board-certified ER physicians 24/7 as well as creating other physician-led programs. When completed, the Northside Campus’ location and reputation will position itself well in the market. We are building on its excellence and are planning to meet the needs of north Columbus and Harris County for generations to come.
The John B. Amos Cancer Center is the only oncology center in the area to offer a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary program accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons. The 107,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility employs 5 hematology oncologists, 3 radiation oncologists, 2 GYN Oncologists, a breast surgeon, a thoracic surgeon, an interventional pain specialist, and additional support staff.
