International Logistics Manager Job Summary:

PrideStaff is recruiting for an International Logistics Manager to join their team. The International Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all global shipping and logistics, ensuring that international shipments are processed efficiently, compliantly, and cost-effectively. This role manages export documentation, freight coordination, customs compliance, and carrier relationships while working closely with operations, sales, warehouse, and accounting teams. The ideal International Logistics Manager has multiple years of experience in a similar role, understands NetSuite, shipping policies, and regulations while maintaining vendor relationships and delivering exceptional customer service. The International Logistics Manager is a full-time, direct-hire position in Macedon, NY.

International Logistics Manager Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage All Shipping Including Air Freight, Ocean Freight, & International Parcel Services
• Coordinate With Global Transportation For Outbound & Inbound Shipments to Ensure Timely Delivery
• Determine The Most Efficient Shipping Methods Based on Cost, Transit Time, & Customer Requirements
• Monitor Shipment Progress & Proactively Address Delays or Transportation Issues
• Ensure All Shipments Comply With Export Regulations & Trade Compliance
• Prepare & Review Export Documentation Including Commercial Invoices, Certificates of Origin, Export Declarations, Bill of Lading or Airway Bills
• Verify Proper Classification of Goods Using HTS Codes & Maintain Accurate Export Records
• Work With Customers Brokers to Ensure Smooth Clearance of International Shipments
• Maintain Relationships With Freight Forwarders, Customers, & International Carriers
• Schedule Regular Reviews With Logistics Partners & Negotiate Rates For International Shipping Services
• Coordinate With Customs Brokers & Internal Teams to Ensure Proper Documentation For Imports
• Resolve Customer Issues or Shipment Holds Quickly to Minimize Delays
• Maintain Awareness of International Trade Regulations, Tariffs, & Import / Export Restrictions
• Ensure Shipments Are Packaged & Prepared According to Carrier & Regulatory Requirements
• Work With Sales Team & Sales Administration to Ensure Customers Receive Accurate Shipment Timelines & Documentation
• Identify & Streamline International Shipping Processes & Reduce Delays
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) For International Logistics Workflows
• Implement Best Practices For Documentation, Compliance & Freight Management
• Track & Report on International Shipping Performance, Freight Costs, & Transit Times
• Maintain Accurate Logistics Data With NetSuite
• Monitor International Freight Spend & Identify Cost-Saving Opportunities
• Follow All PPE & Safety Guidelines

International Logistics Manager Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or 5+ Years of Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Shipping
• Must Have Experience Managing Freight Shipments Including, LTL, FTL, & International Shipping
• Experience Working With ERP Systems Such as NetSuite Preferred
• Excellent Organizational & Problem-Solving Skills Required
• Knowledge of Shipping Terminology, Freight Processes, & Transportation Regulations
• Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills
• Must be Able to Lift up to 50lbs
• Must be Able to Manage Multiple Priorities in a Fast-Paced Environment
• Must be Proficient With MS Office & Logistics Reporting Tools
