Job Title: Financial Coach
Location: Nashville, TN (On-site)
Position Type: Full-time

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Financial Coach to join our team in Nashville, TN. This full-time, on-site role involves providing personalized financial coaching and creating comprehensive financial plans. The Financial Coach will educate clients on personal finance, offer solutions to improve their financial health and wellness, and help them achieve their financial goals. This is not a sales position. BCH is non-fiduciary meaning that we don’t sell products or services, we are just educators/teachers.

Key Responsibilities (All of these areas are taught at BCH):
• Facilitate financial wellness sessions.
• Conduct one-on-one financial coaching sessions.
• Develop and implement customized financial plans for clients.
• Educate clients on personal finance topics such as budgeting, saving, and investing.
• Provide actionable solutions to enhance clients' financial health and wellness.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and executive management.
• Offer ongoing financial guidance to support clients in reaching their financial objectives.

• Conduct, teach, and coach federal employees on FERS (Federal Employees Retirement System) benefits, including:
- Retirement eligibility and pension calculations
- TSP (Thrift Savings Plan) integration and withdrawal strategies
- Social Security coordination with FERS
- Healthcare considerations (FEHB) in retirement
- Survivor benefits and beneficiary planning
- Retirement timeline planning and income structuring

Qualifications:
• Proven experience in financial coaching or a related field.
• Strong understanding of personal finance principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain client relationships.
• Commitment to improving clients' financial well-being.
• Strong written skills.
• Ability to produce executive reports.
• Familiarity with, or ability to quickly develop expertise in, federal benefits including FERS, TSP, and related retirement systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide financial coaching.
• Provide and explain how to use BCH’s financial tools.
• Create personal financial plans.
• Schedule and conduct workshops to introduce/launch DFW.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer events.
• Generate usage reports.
• Manage corporate clients.

• Detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Canva experience is a plus.

Education and Experience:
• Undergraduate degree required (major relative to scope of work).
• 3 years of customer relationship experience.
• Familiarity with Zoom, Cisco WebEx, and Microsoft Teams virtual meeting platforms (helpful but not required).
• Experience with Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.

Compensation:
• Salary plus profit sharing (bonuses).
• Bonus (after successful completion of the probationary period).

Additional Info:
• Work location is on-site (this is not a remote position; however, there are Flex Fridays twice a month).
• Travel is required (domestic and occasional international).
