Robert Half Legal is partnering with a highly respected mid-size law firm in Downtown Seattle that is seeking to add a Tax/Estate Planning Attorney to its well‑established team.

About the Role

The firm is seeking an attorney with approximately 3+ years of experience and an LL.M. in Tax or equivalent tax-focused training (CPA or comparable background). You will work across a broad array of tax matters, with a particular emphasis on:

This attorney will also be responsible for drafting client correspondence, preparing internal memoranda, and designing complex company succession plans. Given the firm’s client mix, you will regularly work with closely held businesses, high‑net‑worth individuals, and multi‑generational families.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

The firm is looking for someone who brings:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High analytical and technical aptitude
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • A genuine interest in long‑term professional growth in tax and estate planning

Compensation & Benefits

The firm offers a competitive base salary of $145,000 – $185,000 , depending on experience, along with performance‑based and discretionary bonuses . Their comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance coverage
  • 401(k) with up to 4% matching
  • Fully paid transit pass or parking subsidy
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO)

• A minimum of five years of experience in advanced estate planning and tax law.

• LL.M. in Tax or equivalent expertise in tax-related matters.

• Proficiency in preparing legal documents for trusts and estate planning strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and valuation discount reports.

• Strong knowledge of charitable remainder trusts, grantor retained annuity trusts, and other advanced planning tools.
