Our client, a leading organization in the food production industry, is seeking a Cake Designer to join their team. As a Cake Designer, you will be part of the creative and production department supporting the cake decorating and design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for cake artistry which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cake Designer

Location: Anoka, MN

Pay Range: $22 - $24/hour

Position Type: 6-12 Month Contract

Shift:  Monday - Friday; 7:00AM - 4:00PM

What's the Job?

• Design and decorate high-quality, high-volume cakes in a production environment.
• Provide innovative design ideas to grow the category and implement new programs within customer accounts.
• Create licensed cake designs for customer presentations and licensor approval.
• Research current cake design trends to develop concepts for seasonal, everyday, and new décor programs.
• Collaborate with team members and departments to ensure design excellence and project success.

What's Needed?

• 3-5 years of experience in cake decorating or related fields.
• Proficiency in precision cake icing and decorating techniques, including final photography-ready designs.
• Experience with icing coloring, piping techniques, and food styling knowledge.
• Experience with PhotoCake® software is strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects.
