2025-26 High School Physics Teachers Join Green Dot Public Schools California as a High School Physics Teacher. Essential Responsibilities Exhibit and uphold Green Dot core values Create a culture of learning in the classroom Engage in data-driven planning and assessment of student learning Establish a culture of respect and rapport with students Facilitate rigorous learning by delivering cognitively engaging lessons Engage in critical reflection, revising practice to increase effectiveness Participate in a professional community across the school site and Green Dot network Develop partnerships within the community by communicating with families and bringing in resources to support student success Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required Growth mindset and love of learning Strong content knowledge, pedagogical understanding, and capacity to plan and deliver instruction Relentless commitment to high-quality execution Passionate and personally responsible with high standards for ambitious goals Excellent collaborative and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong ethical base and self-awareness Dependable, humble, and committed to Green Dot’s mission and communities Credentials and Licenses Possess or will possess by July 2025 a valid California Preliminary or Clear Single Subject credential in Physics, or eligible for a California Single Subject Intern credential in Physics. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $71,085 to $127,985, depending on education and experience.
