Job Type Full‑time, 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 7 am–3:30 pm Job Summary The Screen Print Operator operates screen printing equipment and ensures timely production of high‑quality printed garments. The role involves safety protocols, production guidelines, and maintaining a clean workspace. Prioritising orders, setting up machines, conducting test prints, and collaborating on quality issues are key responsibilities. Essential Functions Obtain work orders and technical sheets, prioritising orders according to standard work guidelines. Set up hit orders and screens based on the technical specifications. Ensure all screens and platens are correctly positioned and secured before production. Conduct test prints on scrap materials, making necessary adjustments for garment approval. Participate in the final inspection approval process at each inspection station. Operate production orders efficiently, utilising lasers and proper garment loading techniques. Monitor ink and supply levels throughout the production run to maintain quality. Contribute ideas to enhance production processes and overall efficiency. Maintain clear communication with production leads and machine operators regarding feedback and quality issues. Adhere to established safety protocols, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Regularly assess the work area for potential safety hazards. Learn and implement standard procedures for the final inspection process, including prioritisation, machine set‑up, and test printing. Collaborate with team members to uphold a clean and organised workspace following 5S principles. Ensure that safety devices on all equipment are functioning properly and report any maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel. Pay For individuals with experience operating large machines, pay starts at $18/hour plus a $0.50 perfect attendance incentive. For individuals with experience specific to operating a large screen printing machine, pay will be commensurate with your experience. Pay negotiable based on experience. Opportunities for merit increases after 60 days, 6 months, and annually thereafter based on performance. Ability to pass a drug test and a 7‑year background check. Physical Requirements & Conditions Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day. Proficiency in using tools for equipment maintenance and operation. Comfortable working in moderate to hot temperatures, with potential exposure to fumes and chemicals. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Ability to lift and manipulate garments and materials as needed.
